Emma Navarro is a 17yr old Senior at NOCCA (New Orleans Center for the Creative Arts), and lives in Mandeville, LA.  Emma started singing at the young age of 9yrs old in school choir and church.  Emma is a Classical Vocal student at NOCCA. She has performed recently on the North Shore at various open mic nights.  She plays the guitar and piano and has written over 65 original songs in the past two years and would like to pursue songwriting and performance in college.

Born and raised in Mandeville, LA, Michael is a board member of the Ozone Music Education Foundation.

Accompanied by his rhythmic musical style, Michael brings authentic Louisiana story-telling and life experiences into his music.

Ryan Perea began his musical journey playing in a punk rock band in Brooklyn throughout the early 2000’s.  After nearly a decade in NYC he moved home to Louisiana to pursue a career as a portrait painter.  During quarantine Ryan rediscovered his love of songwriting and has been working diligently at his new “hobby” ever since.  His songs are rooted in alternative rock but have a southern flare. They tend to be driving and melodic with an aim to make the listener feel something in their bones.  

Ryan still works as a professional artist and teaches Talented Art at Northshore High in Slidell.  He lives in Covington with his lovely wife Heather and their amazing little girl Harper.   

Born and raised in New Orleans, Al d’Aquin has been playing music and writing song for over thirty years now.

He has performed at such venues as Tipitina’s in New Orleans, Crazy Canucks, in Belize, Irish Kevins, The Rum Barrel, and Smokin Tuna in Key West Fla, and the Flora Bama in Gulf Shores, Ala. Al’s alter ego “Abdul D. Tentmakur” has performed his Saint’s songs for years at the Superdome live on WWL 870 am radio before each Saint’s home game. He has recorded six “Abdul” CD’s and donated the proceeds (over $35K) to local charities.

Al is now playing regularly all along the Gulf Coast with Jon Sorey, as the Duo “Birdie’s Boyz”.  Their music can make you smile, laugh, cry, and dance all in the same evening, with a song list that spans the ages, from Johnny Cash to Kid Rock. 

Al is now starting to focus on writing original songs, and performing at local songwriter festivals.

You may also have seen Al and his band “Abdul and the Tentmakers” in some of the New Orleans parades entertaining the crowds along the parade route!

Chaislyn is a 20 year old singer/songwriter from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She wrote her first song at 17 in March of 2018, after competing on ABC's American Idol reboot. Since then, she's continued to gain notoriety in the songwriting world, winning awards for both her writing and music videos. In summer 2021, she was a finalist in Kerrville Folk Festival's New Folk competition and was voted Fan Favorite in the Great River Folk Festival's Songwriter Contest. Electric Blue Yonder’s (EBY) Johnny Veres and Beth Hataway Veres met in their native Montgomery, AL.  They started writing songs inspired by roots music, parlor-style guitar, and harmony-driven vocals.
