Darrell Galatas
About Darrell...
Darrell grew up in Slidell, Louisiana on Bayou Liberty and references the scene there often throughout his music. A compassionate view of the human condition is an identified goal. He performs around the area with friends and fellow songwriters Paul Wilson and Paul Dillon who share their harmony vocals for a rich ensemble effect.
Paul Wilson
About Paul Wilson...
Originally from New Orleans, Paul Wilson is a singer, songwriter, guitarist. He is also a business owner and inventor holding several patents in his field. Paul is a long time member of the North Shore Songwriter circle. He is also the first place winner of the 2018 Ozone songwriter festival song writing contest.

Douglas Stepanek
About Doug...
Douglas Stepanek has been a part of the New Orleans and Northshore music scene since he was 16 years old. Now, when he's not with his full band, The Huey Ps, he is writing and recording original music. Doug has been a part of several recording projects with other local artists, such as Joe Sims, as well. Often credited for his diversity, Douglas Stepanek is at his most comfortable when writing music and performing original songs in various styles steeped in New Orleans musical culture.
Joe Sims
About Joe...
Joe Sims has been performing along the Gulf Coast for over 20 years. Over the last few years, he has had the pleasure of performing his original material at festivals including the Ozone Songwriters Festival, Mississippi Songwriters Festival, Third Street Songwriters Festival, and The Mighty Mississippi Music Festival. One of his songs placed top 5 in the Songwriter Universe song contest last year. This year, he was honored to have his song “Run Away Girl” take 1st place at Third Street SWF.
Melissa Seidule
About Melissa...
Hi, my name is Melissa Seidule. I’m a high school music teacher. When not in the classroom, I livestream on Twitch.TV/MelissaSings. I also have a YouTube page under the same username: MelissaSings. I’m a graduate of SLU with a Bachelor Degree of Music Education. In addition to being a vocalist I play guitar, piano, and ukulele. I’ve been a cantor for 15+ years for churches in the BR diocese. I have been writing songs for about three years now and feel blessed to share my music with others.

Ruby's is an iconic, historic, old-school roadhouse sitting on the corner of Lamarque and Florida Streets in Mandeville, LA. The venue has a well-stocked bar and an enthusiastic crowd.
Format
Free to attend, the event features two rounds of three writers followed by a Songwriter Open mic. Our previous events have had a wonderful atmosphere, so...come on out and enjoy the show.
