Amelia Kate Thompson
About Amelia...
Amelia Kate is a 16 year old singer-songwriter and honor student at Christ Episcopal High School in Covington, LA. She loves the Lord and leads in her High School Music Ministry and Church Praise Band. She is a member of First Baptist Church Covington, active in Musical Theatre, and is a Louisiana State Officer of the International Thespian Society. Amelia Kate is planning to pursue Commercial Music and Songwriting in the Nashville area in College. “Matthew 5:14-16”
John West
About John...
Originally from England, John now calls Mandeville, LA home. As a songwriter and founding member of the Ozone Music Education Foundation—organizers of the Ozone Songwriter Festival—he is passionate about original music. His songs bring a range of influences from English alternative such as Radiohead and Muse to his current favorite: Marty O’Reilly and the Old Soul Orchestra. John plays at numerous festivals across the Gulf South.
Jonathan Harder
About Jonathan...
I was born in 1950, and started writing songs when I got my first guitar for Christmas of 1963. In my lifetime I have worked many jobs, from truck driver to store manager to franchise owner, but music has always been my true love. I have played in multiple bands and played uncountable solo gigs. Now I am (finally) retired, and looking forward to a life filled primarily with music.

Darrell Galatas
About Darrell...
Darrell grew up in Slidell, Louisiana on Bayou Liberty and references the scene there often throughout his music. A compassionate view of the human condition is an identified goal. He performs around the area with friends and fellow songwriters Paul Wilson and Paul Dillon who share their harmony vocals for a rich ensemble effect.
Paul Dillon
About Paul...
Hailed from Worcester Massachusetts, Paul moved to Slidell Louisiana as a young boy. Armed with a guitar and a lifetime of Louisiana memories, Paul goes Deep South folky as he faces his fears while gaining self awareness.
Paul Wilson
About Paul...
Originally from New Orleans, Paul Wilson is a singer, songwriter, guitarist. He is also a business owner and inventor holding several patents in his field. Paul is a long time member of the North Shore Songwriter circle. He is also the first place winner of the 2018 Ozone songwriter festival song writing contest.

The Wine Garden
An american restaurant in Old Slidell featuring great food and drinks. They are a great host and very supportive of original music. Like all local establishments in these difficult times they could use our support, so bring a crowd and support our venues and writers!
Format
Free to attend, the event features two rounds of three writers followed by a Songwriter Open mic. Our previous events have had a wonderful atmosphere, so...come on out and enjoy the show.
