Collin Alonzo
About Collin...
Collin Alonzo is a songwriter hailing from Baton Rouge, currently living in Mandeville. He attributes his writing style to his parents extensive record collection that was always playing in the background growing up.
Joe Sullivan
About Joe...
Joe Sullivan has been a singer-songwriter since age 18 at Plato's Cave Coffeehouse at Manhattan College in 1969. This cafe encouraged and presented musicians, especially songwriters. Joe continued to work with musicians after moving to Louisiana in 1979. He is a veteran of the Mississippi Songwriters Festival, the Third Street Songwriters Festival in Baton Rouge, South by Southwest in Austin, and the Ozone Festival. He completed his third CD in 2021 and penned excellent songs for 50+ years.
Travis Garrison
About Travis...
Travis Garrison is a guitarist, banjo picker, and songwriter from Abita Springs, Louisiana. His songs are influenced by traditional American folk, Bluegrass, and Country both musically and lyrically. Travis's lyrics are written to tell a story of real life observations and experiences.

Jay Megginson
About Jay...
Jay Megginson is a singer/songwriter based out of Fairhope, AL. A self-described "late bloomer," he didn't get serious about music until he was 50 years old. He combines a soulful, raspy voice with a minimalistic guitar style writing songs about love, rednecks, tractors, and Jesus with a tongue-in-cheek sensibility so as to not get too serious as singer-songwriters often do. Jay has recorded an EP entitled "Road" and is currently working on a full-length CD entitled "Sunday Morning Sinners."
Stephen McDonald
About Steve...
Stephen McDonald is a songwriter out of Picayune, MS who has been writing and performing since 2009. He has a 5 song EP that will be releasing this Fall. One of the songs, Heavy Days, can be found on all streaming platforms under the artist name ImageBearer.
Wayward Jones
About Wayward Jones...
Wayward Jones is a singer/songwriter duo with deep southern roots. Bicycle Jones & Amanda Jones met at a package show in 2016. With ties to Mississippi, Arkansas, Texas, & Louisiana, they bring eclectic flavor to their music, heavy with elements of blues, country, folk, and rock. They recently won Boswell Media’s 2019 Mississippi Songwriter of the Year Contest with “Holding It Together”. They recorded it @ Wishbone Studios in Muscle Shoals in Sept. Their first single is set to release this year.

The Wine Garden
An american restaurant in Old Slidell featuring great food and drinks. They are a great host and very supportive of original music. Like all local establishments in these difficult times they could use our support, so bring a crowd and support our venues and writers!
Format
Free to attend, the event features two rounds of three writers followed by a Songwriter Open mic. Our previous events have had a wonderful atmosphere, so...come on out and enjoy the show.
